I’ve been meaning to show you our produce-bleaching process. 15 minutes in bleach/purified water. 15 minutes rinse in purified water. And, voila! Edible fruits and veggies.
I hate how my hands seem to permanently smell like bleach. But you know, I’ll take smelly hands and thirty minutes of work for the fresh and delicious and inexpensive (and local!) produce we get here. It may not look as pretty, but it tastes so much better. And this counter-full cost us maybe two bucks.
