David left last night for 12 days in South Asia.  We miss him so much already.

It’s hard for me to imagine him walking into our apartment, bursting with all of its memories and with its emptiness, by himself, bleary-eyed and jet-lagged.

But I’m very thankful for the countless hours of work he’s put into closing up our life there.  He’ll spend the next two weeks getting our 20-foot container ready to ship (we’re still holding our breath for all the details to come together for this shipment), selling the rest of our things, and saying our good-byes.
