Miss Amelie is every bit the two-year-old all of a sudden.  Fiercely independent, she wants to do everything by herself.  Frequent temper tantrums result when she figures out this is impossible.  Blood-curdling screams when her brother bothers her (which, sadly, happens often).  Never-ending questions of “What’s that?” and exclamations of “Mines!” This kid wants to be where the action is, and wails whenever she is left behind.  But she’s good at playing quietly and entertaining herself too.  She is a true girl, with random outbursts of emotion that sometimes leave all of us scratching our heads.
