I believe these photos brings them dignity and respect and leaves me longing to know their stories. anyways, just thinking in type here… 🙂

David took these pictures. We do ask people before photographing them. Kids generally love to have theirs taken. I read somewhere that if you are in a new place taking lots of photos, you could offer a small tip to people in exchange. Works well in South Asia … not sure how that would go over in the U.S. 🙂
