pIcnic on the porch.

Julie was away this weekend at a women’s retreat with our church.  So I had our little ones and grand plans.  I pictured serving chicken and rice on the porch in the cool evening, sharing what the Lord’s doing in our lives.

I set them up outside and began rushing in and out getting the meal ready.  As soon as I went inside, Amie knocked everything onto the ground and fell off her tupperware stand into it.  When I returned she was face down in her food, screaming, unable to get up with the booster seat belted to her butt.

We went indoors and had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
