swimming lessons.
Judah is doing three weeks of swimming lessons at a school a few blocks down the street, so the past couple of days we’ve been trying to get ourselves out the door for class at 8:00 a.m. He’s only had two classes so far, so we’re still getting adjusted. He actually hates it . . . there have been lots of tears and clinging to Mommy. Oh how thankful I am for a four-year-old’s ability to actually tell you what’s wrong! It’s a brand new season of life, folks! Judah said he likes the pool, but he doesn’t like his teachers. Honestly, I don’t blame him–two of the swimming coaches…

pool fail, terrace fun.
Remember this photo from last April? Well the same scene greeted us this morning when we went for a Skyline swim date with Keli and the kids. So, after a thorough wardrobe search (I don’t seem to have a whole lot in the “business…

We’ve been playing with their magnetic dolls every morning. Among other things, we took Maggie Leigh to the hospital to have her baby, then she joined us for a snowball fight and a pizza lunch at Joey’s house. Summer is in full swing, and it’s hot here, people. Today it is 34 degrees C (93 F), which I know is nothing compared to August in South Carolina, but, for some reason, it’s it’s own kind of terrible. A dry, scorching, dust-in-your-eyes kind of heat, that leaves me feeling sluggish from about 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May is the hottest month here, after which, according to Priya, it becomes “very,…

easter party.
We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter last night with friends, food, games, and a brief explanation of what the Resurrection means. John was able to snap a few photos before it got dark. Thanks, John!
