Thanks for praying for us this week! God answered your prayers, and so much more. He kept our kids safe, and He used my parents and Shari to serve us by taking care of them. David and I went to Atlanta on Tuesday morning nervous, hopeful, excited. And the week proved to be one of the sweetest weeks of our marriage. I’m not exaggerating. We had people who’ve been in ministry for years speak into our life and help us evaluate our gifts, strengths, and weaknesses. But last night, last night was sweet in the hardness. A sweet gathering of people. A sweet time of studying the Word together. Sweet, sweet laughter. Sweet prayers for our family. things that make me happy right now: city church.
A week of my favorite things . . . In November, we moved to the center of our city, because we wanted to be apart of starting a church here. You know, the fact that I’m saying “we” is a big deal. David has talked, dreamed and prayed for as long as I’ve known him about planting churches. It’s in his blood. And in college, as we were friends, then fell in love, dreamed about the future, got married, and dreamed some more, I always thought, subconsciously, This is David’s dream, and I’m going to support him in his dream.
