beach vacation.
I stopped eating gluten and dairy at the beginning of April and was a little nervous about vacation, but we found this organic, vegan cafe just outside Charleston (on Yelp of course) and it was a hit with the whole family. This is my gluten/dairy-free Mediterranean platter. Yum!
Lazy Sunday evening on the balcony
We brought food with us for breakfast and lunch and ate dinners out. Poe’s Tavern and Taco Mamacita on Sullivan’s Island are two of our faves. And I was pleasantly surprised with all their gluten and dairy-free options (man, being gluten-free in America is downright easy!).
Poor Judah got really sick halfway into our trip and spent the rest of vacation in bed or on the sofa. So David and I took turns hanging out with this little water baby.

For all you parents-of-infants out there, I promise there comes a day when your kids actually sleep in (of course, they’ll prefer to do it in bed with you)
We had to stop back by the vegan cafe on our way out yesterday evening. This pad thai was amazing (and please note that it featured micro-greens and sprouts!)
A great time was had by all. And now we’re happy to be home! Happy Thursday!
