our week.

It’s been gray and cold around here, and that coupled with a sick boy means we spent lots of time indoors this week.

Judah has bronchitis and is on antibiotics and Motrin.  As you can see, it didn’t keep him down too much … play and silliness still abounds in our house (Judah saw this pic I took and said, “Mommy, that’s my blank face”).

Flynn Ryder (or is it Ryder Flynn?) and Rapunzel.

These kiddos were so excited to get their first library cards!  I let them exercise their right to choose a huge stack of books (although I didn’t dare tell them they each actually have a 60 book maximum).

Amie asked the librarian for ballet books in anticipation of a trip to see The Nutcracker (or as she says, “the bal-ree dancer”) next week with Mommy and Nina.

My choices for a cozy fall weekend: Praying for Sheetrock thanks to a recommendation from my friend Shea, and Kelly Corrigan because I love her.  Hooray for the library!

Last night we had some new Indian friends over for dinner.  Oh it was so much fun, I hadn’t realized how much of me ached to talk about that whole other side of my life with people who know.  Their oldest daughter and Amie were fast friends.

After dinner we headed down to the Vista to see the lights and get coffee: it was a lovely evening.

And now it’s Friday and the sun is shining again!

Happy weekend everyone!
